Here is a wireframe layout for my The Bleeding Edge website. I have a very simple tool bar that changes to red when you are on that page. I think this helps the user a lot. It allows them to know what page they are on. The tool bar is also repeated at the bottom, just incase they can't see the one at top if they scroll down. At the top I have an area where you can subscribe to the newsletter. The tool bar and the subscribe info will be located on all pages. I will also add link buttons above the top tool bar for Facebook, twitter, and what other sites I may add.
I really like the layout of your site. I like how the Newsletter sign up is displayed at the top of the page so it will be one of the first thing the visitor sees.
